Busy busy

So much has gone on lately. I am at the college taking classes for computers. Not sure if it will do much good in the long run. I know that it is very hard to be away from home as much as I am...on everyone.
Things are very tough right now. I wish I could have something better to say, or something better to report...but we are just struggling so much.
These times try our patience, our resolve and even our faith.

At the risk of sounding like a real bummer, I won't say too much more. Hope to some day have time to think and blog about what I am thinking! For now, it is pure survival mode.

  1. I think one of the things that have help me is a settling belief that all is as it should be...it is perfect because God is perfect. Also, being willing to let go of all my preconceived ideas of what "should be", especially if the ideas are based upon a religious interpreation, not born of God, but man. A favorite line from "Rudy"..spoken by a Priest. "I only know two things. There is a God and I'm not him." That is really about all I know for sure at this point in my life. I like it that way, because the more I "knew" before, the more confused and discontent I became. To me, knowing translated into doing some prescribed idea of what it means to be "godly". I have come to believe that Godly is "God in me"...period....that's it....everything else is based upon someone's translation. Ok...now that was a blog response.

  2. Praying as you go through these struggles. It must be hard, but think how much harder if you did not have the hope of your Lord! ((hugs))

  4. Sorry, Dawn. It's tough when you are in the desert, but remember you are being lead (and fed) by the very hand of God when you are in this situation. He is close.
